Abstract

The present research attempts to study the implementation of the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009 in the Meerut city. The sample of the study was consisted of 20 elementary schools out of which 10 schools of UP Board and other 10 schools of CBSE Board were selected through stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that the RTE Act is partially implemented in the Meerut city’s schools. On the basis of the study, some recommendations havebeen made.
